Core Contributors

Hashlink Labs is a core contributor supporting the growth of Hashlink, led by grant and mike, who are from Columbia University, managed accounts at Salesforce for Snap, and have prior web2 exits.

The team joined crypto full-time in 2019 with a keen interest in early web3 gaming. With the rise of Axie Infinity, Sandbox, Decentraland, and other major early players, they witnessed fatal flaws such as poor economic design, bad tech, and clunky UX prevent these platforms from sustainable growth. It was exciting to see major web2 companies step into the frontiers of web3 and metaverse, but disappointing to see some backout of commitments as markets saw volatility and crashes. The team set out to build a product that could solve these issues and provide users with a seamless tokenized gameplay experience.

Designing a performant decentralized L3 on Base including a native AI-based virtual world economic regulation system requires an intimate understanding of the gaming industry, cutting-edge blockchain technology, and clean UX, which the team is well-positioned to deliver.
